I bought this shredder because I needed to shred lots of old restaurant record,what a great machine,easy to empty .I will buy this product again if i ever need another shredder. I shredded an entire box of old checks and & records from my vendors toda.love it!!! love it!!!F.B. in Az

This replaced a larger GBC shredder that only lasted 4 yrs. It's solid and the pull-out basket is a huge plus. If you put a plastic bag inside the basket, it's easy to tie up and recycle. Shreds CDs easily.

I absolutely loooove this shredder! It is super powerful, not bad-looking and the pull-out bin is very convenient! It shreds business cards and CDs without a stutter - no more reverse/forward toggling to get the stuff through. I chose this over a quieter, but less powerful model and if this one ever dies, I'm getting another one just like it. We use it in our small business. It is a real work horse. I recommend this item HIGHLY! It will not disappoint.

I purchased this shredder to replace an old strip shredder and I am very satisfied. It is very powerful and really performs as stated in the description. I had to shred several years of paper records and this baby handled everything I put in it. It would have taken three times longer to dispose of material using the strip shredder plus I have some excellent compost material. Buy it, you'll love it!

After a lot of reading I landed on this shredder. I don't really have a lot of volume but I wanted good quality - a shredder that would perform well and last. When I first bought it, I found a large volume of records that needed shredding (old tax forms and papers) and gave it a good work out. I did manage to jam it, but I was looking for trouble. If you use it with about 6 sheets or less, it will be fine. It is a good size but I was surprised to see just how fast the bin fills up. It would be very nice if there was a built in handle recessed in the bottom, so emptying it into a big trash bag would be easier - you could dump and easily pull it out. No big deal though, and I am very pleased with the machine.
