This shredder has been great so far. The bin is on the small side, but the shredder functions perfectly. Highly recommended!

Just received the unit. It says it handles 14 sheets ... VERY optimistic. It grinds and groans at 14 sheets and almost shuts off, but 10 sheets is a breeze. Based on my experience with other shredders, the entire industry bloats its real-world number of sheets they can handle at a time, so it's no big deal and was to be expected.
The unit has sharp styling and is neutral enough to blend with any decor. It seems, based on the weight of the unit, that it is either built very solidly, or they put lead weights in it somewhere :)
One BIG PEAVE is the FALSE ADVERTISING! The unit is described as having an LCD message screen. This is NOT true. I almost decided to return it on this fact alone, but decided to give it a try. The unit works well, and so I will keep it, but will be warry of future Royal purchases from Amazon for innaccurate descriptions.
I would have given this shredder 5 stars, however, I can't give it more than 3 based on not getting the unit that was advertised. The Royal oart number and SKU matched the box I received, so clearly the description is in error. I would not have purchased this item for the advertised price had the LCD not been present. I feel slightly taken, but need a shredder in the worst way, so I am eating this one.
